The Citizen Perception Survey is an essential tool for urban strategic Planning and tests the feelings of the population in relation to their city, the perspectives and challenges it faces, and to the Strategic Plan and the projects and actions it promotes.
The Citizen Perception Study was carried out on 800 people residing in San Sebastian in November 2006.
By way of a general conclusion we should point out that the grade received by the city in the section “level of satisfaction with living in...” was 9.5 out of 10, much higher than the average for European cities.
The survey asked people to rate and indicate their level of satisfaction with safety in the city, its installations and services, public transport, air quality, noise pollution, integration, etc.
